Delete your account or data

You can delete individual data, temporarily disable your account, or permanently delete your Life OS account — all directly from the app.

Delete individual data

You can delete specific data without deleting your account. In the app, navigate to the relevant module and delete items individually:

  • Tasks: Swipe left on a task or tap edit, then delete
  • Goals: Open a goal, then tap delete
  • Journal entries: Open an entry, then tap delete
  • Calendar events: Open an event, then tap delete
  • Budget transactions: Swipe left on a transaction or tap edit, then delete

Deleted items are removed immediately and permanently from our servers.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Life OS on your device
  2. Go to Settings (tap your avatar on the home screen)
  3. Scroll to Account
  4. Tap Deactivate account
  5. Choose Permanently delete to remove your account and all data, or Temporarily disable to pause your account
  6. Confirm your choice

What data is deleted

When you permanently delete your account, all associated data is removed: your profile, tasks, goals, calendar events, journal entries, budget transactions, news preferences, and any uploaded images.

Data retention

After you request permanent deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the request by logging back in. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers, including your profile, tasks, goals, calendar events, journal entries, budget transactions, news preferences, and uploaded images. No data is retained after deletion is complete.

Temporary deactivation

If you choose to temporarily disable your account, your data is preserved but your account is inaccessible until you reactivate it by logging in again.
